Limefuel Blast 18,000 mAh Power Bank $99.99

Limefuel Blast 18,000 mAh Power Bank

Summary:
This is a review one of one my favorite brand of power banks. The Limefuel brand got its start on Kickstarter and has continue to grow as a maker of premium power bank portable batteries. In this review i will be covering the one of the first launch units they shipped under the first Kickstarter project. The Limefuel L180X unit is a great battery overall, and while its missing a advanced features found in the newer models this is still a very nice and powerful power bank. Limefuel delivers some of the most effective battery packs and this one is no exception, as the review will show it scores up with the highest of the batteries i have tested.

Summary: The LeGion is one of the more intriguing batteries I have tested recently, and it is also one of the top performing. While not the first battery on the market to include a displace to show vitals, this device takes things to a new level delivering stats and information in a way none of its competitors comes close to. PLX Devices launched initially though Kickstarter, doing remarkably well collecting almost 5 times the goal they set out to get. It also has a smaller little brother with a rated capacity of 5,600 mAh. I only have the black 11,000 mAh, so the review will focus on that. The unit comes with a hefty price tag for its capacity, but in this case you are getting what you pay for. While its not perfect, it is a nice battery with a very good efficiency rating, and of course the OLED display that will deliver lots of great info to you.

Summary:
This battery pack, the RAVPower RP-BP07, is well suited for smartphone users, and while it will work at full speed on a tablet, many will likely be disappointed with the small effective output. On that note, this is a decent battery pack. Its efficiently rating is average, rating only 59% effeciency output on average over the course of testing. This is not bad, but not the best either. Summary:
This RAVPower RP-BP13 battery is a nice Power Bank overall and while its not the highest scoring i have seen in terms of efficiency, its up their on the list rating on average at 65%. What are getting is a fairly efficient portable battery at a decent price.

With the lower cost you are losing a lot of the nice to have features and getting a pretty basic battery pack. But since it performs well I think for many this would be an acceptable trade off.

The device itself is nice if you want a decent stand up dock for your iDevice. It woks fine with the smart cover since but thicker cases may prevent it from seating properly. Some nice features are that is has “auto-on” so the iPad starts charging as soon as its docked, no need to press a button. It also has pass-thru charging allowing you to always keep the dock plugged in. it will charge the device and or the internal battery as needed. The main complaint is the battery itself. Being advertised for the iPad the 5200mAh battery is already pretty small. The iPad has an internal battery of over 11,500 mAh (3rd Gen).
The internal battery is proving to be about 60% efficient in my numerous controlled tests, showing that you get an effective output of about 3100mAh. This would get you roughly a 25% charge to a dead iPad
